Hello everyone, Here you can apply for 'Sagas of the Icelanders', this is a roleplaying game based on the Viking Age. This game is set on 900 AD; and even when Vikings had tales about trolls, dragons, sea serpents. This is a campaign based on real world situations, real conflicts between real people, with sacrifices to the gods, religious conflicts, love stories, sex, and the struggle to survive in the winter of Iceland. With that said, only players with the age of 18+ are allowed to apply. The campaign will take place once a week, with a fixed day and time agreed with all the participating players.
To apply: List your age, the reason/s you would love to join the campaign, the days of the week and hours you can play (make sure you also state your time zone). Keep the post clean, only one reply for player, for further questions feel free to send me a private message.
Elin Dalst'l, Sage LaTorra, Ezio Melega, Jason Morningstar, Gregor Vuga This book contains the rules and instructions for a tabletop roleplaying game about Viking settlers in Iceland. You will need one or more friends with you in order to play. I recommend four or five people altogether for the best experience. You will also need some paper, pencils and at least two regular dice (ideally, you should have a pair of dice for each player minus one). This chapter will explain how to play the game. The game is about the trials, tribulations and adventures of the first settlers of Iceland, as described in the Icelandic Sagas.

The so-called Saga Period lasted roughly from 875, when the first permanent Norse settlers arrived, until 1085, when the first local bishop established a church in the south of Iceland. In truth, the majority of the family sagas take place in the hundred years between 930 (the year of the first national assembly) and 1030. If you want to know more about Iceland and its inhabitants in that period, you can read the chapter titled Iceland.
